Dashlane helps you autofill your data online and in your apps on your mobile devices. As long as you've updated to the latest version of Dashlane and configured your iOS device to use Dashlane as your password manager, then you can access and autofill your Dashlane data.

You can autofill data directly in Safari—the default browser on iOS—but also in Chrome, Firefox, and other apps that support Autofill.
Note: With Dashlane on iOS (Apple) devices, Dashlane can autofill login details only, which include your username and password. Apple doesn’t let us autofill other information like addresses or credit card info. You'll also be prompted to authenticate your account before Dashlane autofills your login information.
Set up Autofill on iOS
- Go into your iOS device's Settings, select Passwords, then Password Options, and then turn on AutoFill Passwords. Be sure you're in your device settings and not in Dashlane's settings for this first step.
Note: If you haven't updated to the latest OS, go to Settings, select Passwords, then turn on AutoFill Passwords.
- On the Password Options screen, select the Dashlane option for autofill.
We strongly recommend that you clear the Keychain option. Having both Keychain and Dashlane selected creates a confusing and less-effective experience.
Log in with Autofill on iOS
After you have Dashlane set up to autofill your logins, your experience may vary slightly when you have more than one account on a website.
Note: If you use an external keyboard with an iOS device, you may not be able to autofill on your device.
At least one login in Dashlane matches a website or app
When at least one login in Dashlane matches a website or app, select the suggested account. Dashlane autofills the username and password.
The small key icon opens a menu allowing you to select other accounts.
Your device is confident about which login to use
When your device is confident about which of your logins to autofill, that login is suggested in place of the keyboard.
The keyboard is still available by selecting the small keyboard icon. And your other accounts are available by selecting the small key icon in the lower-right corner.
Your device doesn't recognize any login in Dashlane that matches the website or app
If you don't have a login for a website or app or the login you tried didn't work, you'll see a generic Passwords option. Select Passwords to open a menu where you can select other logins. Your device may always provide this option for some browsers and apps.
Create a new login
If Dashlane doesn't have a login saved for the website you're on, or you want to add a new login for that site, you can create a new login.
- Select Add new login.
- Enter the new information and select Save. Dashlane autofills the login.
