With Dashlane's Android app, you can manage and access your logins and personal data wherever you are.
Want to know if your device will work with Dashlane?
To use Dashlane, you need a recent version of your computer, phone, or browser so that you can make the most of our apps and keep your data secure. The term "minimum requirements" refers to the earliest version of each device and browser that you can use with our apps.
If your device doesn't support the latest version of Dashlane, we recommend that you upgrade your operating system. Upgrading the operating system is necessary so you can continue to use Dashlane.
If you receive a message that says the app may not work soon, you may have an older device, which won't be able to run a supported operating system (OS).
In this case, you'll need to use another device with a supported operating system.
Get your data on the go
With Android, you can access and modify all your data saved in Dashlane and add new logins and identity info. Important information, like passport and banking details, stays with you at all times. And you can even access your data without an internet connection.
Dashlane on Android includes key features like autofill in third-party apps and browsers. With the Password Health tool, you can find weak spots in your security setup. And the Password Generator helps you create strong passwords right from your device.

Mobile account management
You can use biometrics and dark mode to set up the Android app for your needs. And you can add your logins to collections to help organize your vault. We also recommend setting up the account recovery key in case you forget your Master Password or get locked out of your passwordless account.
Set up the account recovery key on Android
With Dashlane's recovery key, you can regain access to your Dashlane account without losing any data if you forget your Master Password or get locked out of your passwordless account. You'll provide your saved recovery key, complete an identity verification step, and recover your account. If you have a Master Password, we'll also ask you to change your password during the recovery process.
Setting up a recovery key isn't required, but the key protects you from being permanently locked out of your account. Think of your recovery key as your emergency key to your vault.
Unlock your Android app with biometrics or a PIN code
Dashlane on Android has biometric authentication, which means you can use your fingerprint to unlock our app. You can also unlock Dashlane on your Android device with your PIN code. If you have an account protected by a Master Password, Dashlane still asks you to enter your Master Password after restarting your device and from time to time for security reasons.
Dark mode on Android
The mobile Android app has a dark mode option for using Dashlane at night or when you want to save battery power.
Example of dark mode from a Samsung Galaxy S20 with Android 13:
Reset your Master Password with biometric recovery
If you've set up Dashlane on your Android device to unlock your account with biometrics like your fingerprint, you can also turn on Biometric recovery. Then if you enter the wrong password or fail to authenticate when logging in, Dashlane offers you the option to reset your Master Password with biometrics. You have to turn these settings on to be able to use them.
Add your logins to collections
At this time, collections are available for logins only.
You can create collections and add your logins to them to help organize your vault. You can create and add as many collections as you need for each login.
