Set up the account recovery key on Android
With Dashlane's recovery key, you can regain access to your Dashlane account without losing any data if you forget your Master Password or get locked out of your passwordless account. You'll provide your saved recovery key, complete an identity verification step, and recover your account. If you have a Master Password, we'll also ask you to change your password during the recovery process.
Setting up a recovery key isn't required, but the key protects you from being permanently locked out of your account. Think of your recovery key as your emergency key to your vault.
Open your Android app with biometrics or a PIN code
Dashlane on Android has biometric authentication, which means you can use your fingerprint to open our app. You can also open Dashlane on your Android device with your PIN code. If you have an account protected by a Master Password, Dashlane still asks you to enter your Master Password after restarting your device and from time to time for security reasons.
