If you don't want to use Dashlane any longer, you can delete your account. You can create a new account anytime.
Deleting your Dashlane account erases all data associated with the account, including all logins, personal details, and payment info. After you delete your account, Dashlane can't process refunds, look up transactions, or provide any other support related to the account. After deleting your account, you'll no longer receive emails from Dashlane.
Deleting your account doesn't uninstall our apps from your devices.

Important: Before deleting your account, complete any of the steps in this section that apply to you. We can't help you with any of these processes after you delete your account.

If you deleted your account without canceling your subscription, you can get help by selecting the Chat icon in the bottom right of this page and mentioning that you want to cancel your subscription.

If you paid for your subscription within the last 30 days, you can request a refund. Refunds are available for personal plans but not professional plans.

If you have a paid Dashlane plan that you want to move to another Dashlane account, make sure to transfer your subscription before you delete your account.
You can get help by selecting the Chat icon in the bottom right of this page and mentioning that you want to transfer your subscription.

Delete your Dashlane account and data
Warning! Deleting your account erases all data stored in your account. You won't be able to log in or access your data, and we won't be able to recover the data. Before you delete your account, export your data. In some cases, you also need to cancel your subscription first.
Important: On your computer, you need to have the Dashlane browser extension installed and then log out of the extension in that browser to be able to delete your account.
I'm an admin. Can I delete a plan member's account?
The process is the same as deleting your Dashlane account. You'll be asked to insert a verification code sent to the account's contact email address, or a 2FA token/recovery code.
You can delete your account and data from Dashlane on your computer or through the macOS, iPad, and iPhone apps. You can't delete your account and data on the Dashlane Android app.

If you can't access the deletion page and are redirected to your vault, make sure you're logged out of the Dashlane browser extension.
- Enter the email address you use to log in to Dashlane.

A new tab opens to perform a security check, which helps prevent phishing. This security check ensures that only genuine requests reach our system, preventing attackers from faking the process or tricking you into logging in on a fake website.
Note: You might need to turn off your ad blocker or add Dashlane to the list of allowed websites.

Do not close the account deletion page. If we've asked for an email verification code, open your email in a separate tab or on a separate device. If we've asked for a 2FA token, open your authenticator app. If you can't find your 2FA token, you can use a 2FA recovery code.

Problems with email verification codes - On the account deletion page, enter your email verification code, 2FA token, or recovery code.
- Then select Delete my account and confirm.
Delete your account and data on your iPhone
- Select Settings in the bottom menu of the Dashlane iPhone app, and then select Help.
- On the Help screen, select Delete my account, and enter your Master Password.
- On the Delete your account screen, your contact email is populated. A warning banner appears, stating that deleting your account cannot be undone and that all data and passwords will be permanently lost. Select Continue.
- Enter the 6-digit code sent to your email.
- Confirm that you want to delete your account and data.
Your account and data are deleted, and you're logged out. You're returned to the login screen.

- Select the gear icon above the left menu in the Dashlane macOS or iPad app, and then select Help.

Uninstall Dashlane apps
Deleting your account won't remove Dashlane from your computer or phone. To remove Dashlane from your devices, you need to uninstall all of our apps.
Important: Uninstalling Dashlane from your device won't cancel your subscription or delete your account. To completely leave Dashlane, you need to cancel your subscription, delete your account, and uninstall our apps.
