You only share logins and personal information with other members of your Friends & Family plan if you choose to.

You can buy a Friends & Family plan or get Friends & Family benefits as part of your Dashlane Business plan at your organization. You can also join someone else's Friends & Family if they invite you.
When you buy a Friends & Family plan or get Friends & Family through Dashlane Business, you become the plan admin. As an admin, you'll enjoy the benefits of Dashlane Premium, including a VPN for WiFi protection. Anyone you invite to join will have access to the same Premium features without the VPN.

I already have Dashlane. What happens when I buy or join a Friends & Family plan?
When you buy or join a Friends & Family plan, you keep all passwords and other data that you've already saved in your Dashlane account. Other changes to your subscription and benefits depend on the plan you currently have and whether you're buying a new Friends & Family plan or joining someone else's plan.

What happens when I cancel my Friends & Family plan?
When you cancel the plan, you keep all of your logins and data. You resume whatever plan you had when you bought the Friends & Family plan. If you were new to Dashlane when you bought the Friends & Family plan, you continue with Dashlane Free. The same applies to members of your plan.
Only the plan admin can cancel the Friends & Family plan.
Can I make someone else the admin on my Friends & Family plan?
A Friends & Family plan can have only one admin. When you buy a Friends & Family plan, you're the admin of that plan. You can only change the current admin if you cancel the plan. The admin account for a Friends & Family plan remains connected to the email address you used to buy the plan. You can't transfer the admin account to another email address even if you have another Dashlane account with a different email.
If you want to move your Friends & Family plan to another email address, we suggest you wait until your current subscription ends. Then cancel your current plan, and start a new Friends & Family plan with the other account.

I'm a member of someone else's Friends & Family plan. How do I leave the plan?
If you’re a member of a Friends & Family plan, and you want to leave the plan you’re on, contact the admin and ask them to remove you.
When you’re removed, you keep all of your logins and data. You resume whatever plan you had when you joined the Friends & Family plan. If you were new to Dashlane when you joined the Friends & Family plan, you continue with Dashlane Free.
How do I share logins and other data with members of my Friends & Family plan?
When you have a Friends & Family plan, your data remains private. The other members of your plan can only see logins and other data that you choose to share with them.
Sharing with a member of your Friends & Family plan is the same as sharing with any other Dashlane customer. You can securely share individual items or all of your Dashlane data, but only when you choose.
