You choose your 2-factor authentication (2FA) options when you turn on 2FA. Options include the phone number for your recovery codes and whether 2FA applies to every login or only to new devices.
2FA for your Dashlane account is only available for accounts protected by a Master Password.

To change your options, turn 2FA off and then back on, and choose your new options during setup.
Important: When you turn 2FA off and back on, you get new recovery codes, and your old codes no longer work. Be sure to save your new recovery codes and delete the old ones.
Change 2FA settings in the Android app
This setting is available only in the Android app.
If you chose to use 2FA every time you log in, you'll see a Disable 2FA option in your security settings. When Disable 2FA is turned on, we won't always ask for a 2FA token when you log in to Dashlane on your Android device. To have us ask for a token every time you use Dashlane on this device, turn off Disable 2FA.
- In the Android app, select the menu icon, shown as three lines, to open the side menu. Then select Settings and Security.
- Turn Disable 2FA on or off.
