You can move your logins and other data from KeePass into Dashlane.
First, you need to export your data from KeePass. Then you can import your data to Dashlane. After you import your data, make sure to turn off or remove all KeePass extensions and apps. Otherwise, you may have problems using Autofill and other Dashlane features.
Export your data from KeePass
You can export your data from KeePass to a CSV file. The file will contain logins only.
For each login stored in KeePass, the CSV file contains the item name, username, password, website, and note.
Visit KeePass's support website for steps on how to export your data.
Important: CSV files aren't encrypted, and other people can read them. We recommend you delete the CSV file from your device as soon as you finish using the file.
Import your data to Dashlane
You can only import your data using the web or Android apps. At this time, you can't import a CSV file using the iOS (Apple) app.
Each login you import from KeePass contains the Username, Password, and Note in the correct location. The KeePass item name imports to the Note section in Dashlane, and the website for the KeePass login imports as the Item name in Dashlane.
Remove KeePass from your browser
After you've imported your data, you're ready to use Dashlane to manage your online life. Make sure to turn off or remove apps and extensions for any other password managers in the browsers that you use.
KeePass doesn't provide information on its website about how to turn off or uninstall its apps. If you're having trouble turning off or uninstalling KeePass, we recommend contacting their customer support.
