When you have a passwordless Dashlane account protected by a PIN, you can manage your account recovery key from your security settings anywhere you use Dashlane. On mobile devices and in the macOS app, you can also update your PIN and change how you unlock Dashlane.

Change PIN-protected login settings in your web browser
You can change your account recovery settings in your web browser. Select Vault in the top-left of the page, then Settings, and then Security settings. Select Generate new key to get a new account recovery key.

In your web browser, you can't change your PIN or set up face or fingerprint unlock for a PIN-protected account.
Change PIN-protected login settings on Android
You can change your login settings for the Android app. Select the three parallel lines to open the side menu, and then select Settings and Security. You can manage these options:
- Select Change PIN to update the PIN you use to unlock the app
- Turn on Biometric lock to open the app with your face or fingerprint, or turn it off to open the app with your PIN

Select Recovery key to turn account recovery on or get a new account recovery key
- Turn on Auto-lock to lock the app automatically anytime you exit
- Select Auto-lock time to change how long the app stays open while you're not using it

You can change your login settings for the iPhone or iPad app. Select Settings in the bottom menu and then Security. You can manage these options:
- Select Change PIN to update the PIN you use to unlock the app
- Turn on Use Face ID or Use Touch ID to open the app with your face or fingerprint, or turn these settings off to open the app with your PIN

- Turn on Lock on exit to lock the app automatically anytime you exit
- Select Auto-lock timeout to change how long the app stays open while you're not using it

You can change your login settings for the macOS app by selecting Settings in the side menu and then Security:
- Select Change PIN to update the PIN you use to unlock the app
- Turn on Use Touch ID to open the app with your fingerprint, or turn the setting off to open the app with your PIN
