General feature notes
Require Master Password to unlock Secure Notes: You can lock a Secure Note so that you need to enter your Master Password to unlock it.
Add custom categories to your logins: In the web app and iOS app, you can create custom categories and add them to your logins to help organize your vault. If you use Safari as your browser, we recommend you log in to another browser to create custom categories for your logins.
Add custom categories to your logins
Add, edit, or remove categories for Secure Notes: Any categories you created in the now unavailable desktop apps are still available to select, but you can't create new categories or delete or rename existing categories in the web app. We'll do our best to add this feature as soon as possible, but we don't have an estimated delivery date. In the meantime, you can add keywords to the note text and then search for those keywords to locate the item.
Web app feature notes
Secure file storage: For now, secure file storage in the web app is available only on Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium browsers, such as Opera, Brave, and Vivaldi. We're planning to support secure file storage on Firefox.
Share information with a trusted person: We're working on an improved experience to provide easier account co-ownership and digital delegation for emergencies.
Unlock the app with biometrics: You can unlock the app using the biometric methods available on your device or a security key.
Unlock the web app with biometrics or a security key
Unlock the iOS app with Touch ID, Face ID, or a passcode
Unlock the Android app with your fingerprint or a PIN code
U2F security key support: We have no plans to continue to support the U2F standard on the web app and the usage of security keys for 2FA. We support YubiKeys instead of typing your Master Password—similar to using Face ID on an iOS device—when you log in to the extension on browsers compatible with the feature.

Mobile app feature notes
Ability to turn 2FA on or off: You can turn 2FA on and off now from your iOS or Android Password Manager app when you have Dashlane Authenticator installed on the same device.
If you're using another authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, you can only turn off 2FA from your mobile Dashlane Password Manager app.

Safari app notes
Autofill: Dashlane now uses macOS native autofill for the web app in Safari. For a better autofill experience, you must set up the alternative autofill solution. This solution lets Dashlane autofill your usernames and passwords but not other fields like your address, phone number, or payment information. To autofill all types of data, you must use Dashlane in another supported browser.

Zero-knowledge account recovery: If you use Safari, we recommend you log in to another browser with the extension to use this feature.
Password Generator: You can't use the Password Generator when creating or editing logins when in a form field.
Password history: You can retrieve only the passwords you generated in the Safari app.
Import passwords: We recommend you log in to another browser with the extension installed or contact Customer Support.
Export passwords: We recommend you log in to another browser with the extension installed or contact Customer Support.
Share information with a trusted person: We're working on an improved experience to provide easier account co-ownership and digital delegation for emergencies.
Ability to turn 2FA on or off: We don't plan to make 2-factor authentication available in the Safari app. If you use Safari, you can use another browser with the extension to turn 2FA on or off.
