This table shows which features are available in the Dashlane web, Android, iPhone, or macOS apps. For each asterisk (*), see the feature name in the notes sections following the table.

Dashlane Autofill: When using the Dashlane macOS app, autofill is much improved in the Dashlane extension for Safari. You can use more of Dashlane's features and tools without needing to open the separate Dashlane macOS app. You have access to our feature-rich extension pop-up and in-browser vault view, as well as the best autofill capabilities that Dashlane has to offer.
Get started with the Dashlane extension for Safari - Dashlane account recovery options: Biometric recovery isn't available in the web app. Admin-assisted recovery isn't available on the mobile apps or the Dashlane macOS app.
- Passwordless login for your Dashlane account: Passwordless login isn't currently available for members of professional plans.
- Passwordless login with a security key: Passwordless login with a security key is only available in the web app, with Dashlane personal plans, and for the first admin with a new professional plan.
- Password history: When using the Dashlane iPhone app or the macOS app, you can retrieve only the passwords you generated in that app.
- Secure file storage: For now, secure file storage in the web app is available on Chrome, Edge, the Dashlane extension for Safari, and other Chromium browsers, such as Opera, Brave, and Vivaldi. We're planning to support secure file storage on Firefox.
- Share information with a trusted person: We're working on an improved experience to make account co-ownership and digital delegation for emergencies easier.

Ability to turn on and off 2-factor authentication (2FA):
- If you're protecting your Dashlane account with 2FA, you can turn the setting on and off only in the web app. Then you can sign in to any Dashlane app with 2FA turned on.
- If you're using 2FA to protect individual logins stored in Dashlane, you can turn the setting on and off in the web, Android, or iPhone app. We don't plan to make 2-factor authentication available for the macOS app. If you use the macOS app, you can use another browser with the extension to turn 2FA on or off.

Add, edit, or remove categories for Secure Notes: Any categories you created in the now-unavailable desktop apps are still available to select, but you can't create new categories or delete or rename existing categories in the web app. You can add keywords to the note text and then search for those keywords to locate an item.
